Food Safety Training Courses
Our ½ day Food Hygiene Awareness course is suitable for a variety of candidates including employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling low-risk or wrapped food or those who work front of house, such as waiting or check out staff, kitchen porters or warehouse staff.
The CIEH Level 2 Food Safety is essential for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. Candidates will gain an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice and be equipped with the practical skills necessary to work safely with food.
The aim of the CIEH Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety, is to equip managers and supervisors of food premises with the knowledge, understanding and practical expertise to implement, maintain and monitor good food hygiene procedures within their business.
This 5 day course provides management with an in-depth knowledge of food hygiene which enables them to formulate, implement and manage a superior food hygiene policy within their organisation.
It also is a necessary qualification for those wishing to deliver training up to Level 2 Food Safety (with appropriate training skills).
It is a legal requirement for all food businesses to have in place procedures based on food safety management (HACCP) principles. The RSPH’s Foundation HACCP course aims to provide candidates with knowledge and understanding of the basic concepts and methodology of HACCP and how these can be applied to everyday food production.
